What cookies are and why we use them
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit. They let the site recognise your device on later pages and on later visits, and they hold small pieces of information such as whether you are signed in, which language you have chosen and which parts of the site you have already seen.
This policy also covers technologies that work in a similar way, including local storage, pixels and the software kits built into our apps where we offer them. We use the word cookies throughout to cover all of these.
We set cookies to keep your account secure, to remember the choices you make, to understand how the site performs and to measure our own advertising. Some cookies are needed for the site to function at all: without them we cannot keep you signed in, hold a deposit while you complete it, or protect your account from misuse. Others are optional, and you decide whether we may set them.
We hold a gaming licence and we verify the accounts we open. Some cookies support that work by helping us spot unusual sign-in patterns and confirm that the person using an account is the account holder. Our services are for adults aged 18 or over only.
The types of cookies we use
We group the cookies on this site into four types. The cookie notice on the site uses the same grouping, so the choice you make there maps directly onto the categories below.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are needed for the site to work and have no switch in our cookie notice. They keep you signed in as you move between the lobby, the cashier and your account, hold the details of a deposit or withdrawal request while you complete it, spread traffic across our servers, and support our security checks and the safer gambling limits you have set. Because they deliver a service you have asked for, we set them without asking for consent.
Performance and analytics
These cookies tell us how the site is used: which pages are opened, how long they take to load, where errors appear and where people stop part-way through registration or a payment. The reports we receive are grouped together and used to fix faults and make pages quicker, not to build a profile of you by name.
Functionality
These cookies remember the choices you make so that you do not have to make them again: your preferred language, your sound and animation settings, the games you opened most recently, the layout you last used and whether you have dismissed a particular on-site message. If you turn them off the site still works, but it forgets these settings between visits.
Marketing
These cookies help us see which of our campaigns bring people to the site, limit how often you are shown the same message, and keep promotional material away from people who have asked not to receive it. Some are set by the advertising and measurement partners we work with, which can mean they are able to tell that a browser visited our site. We set marketing cookies only if you agree to them in the cookie notice.
| Type | Typical purpose | Set without consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Signing in, cashier sessions, security and account checks | Yes, the site cannot run without them |
| Performance and analytics | Page speed, error reports, grouped usage statistics | No, only once you agree |
| Functionality | Language, display settings, recently opened games | No, only once you agree |
| Marketing | Campaign measurement, capping how often ads appear | No, only once you agree |
How to manage cookies on the site and in your browser
You have two ways of controlling cookies: our cookie notice and the settings in your browser.
In our cookie notice
- Open the cookie settings from the footer of any page on the site.
- Use the switches to accept or decline each optional category. Strictly necessary cookies have no switch, because the site cannot run without them.
- Save your choice. We store it in a cookie so that we do not have to ask again on every page.
- Come back whenever you like to change what you have agreed to. A new choice replaces the previous one from the moment you save it.
Withdrawing your agreement stops us setting those cookies again, but it does not remove cookies already stored on your device. To clear those, use your browser.
In your browser or device
Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, block cookies from particular sites and block third-party cookies altogether. The controls sit in the privacy or site settings part of the browser menu, and the built-in help for your browser explains where to find them on your device. On a phone or tablet you may also be able to limit advertising tracking in the device settings.
Clearing cookies in one browser has no effect on another, and it does not change the settings held in your account with us, such as a deposit limit or a time-out. Those sit against your account rather than in a cookie.
What happens if you block or delete cookies
You can use much of the site with the optional categories turned off. Blocking strictly necessary cookies is different, because the site depends on them, and you should expect parts of it to stop working.
- You may be unable to sign in, or you may be signed out as soon as you open another page.
- Deposits and withdrawals can fail part-way through, because the cashier loses track of your request.
- Games may not load, or may not keep the settings you choose.
- Our security checks may treat your device as unrecognised more often, which can mean extra verification before you play.
- You will see the cookie notice again on every visit, because we have nowhere to store your answer.
How to reach us about cookies
If you have a question about this policy, want to know more about a particular cookie, or believe something on the site is setting cookies it should not, write to us at support@casino-luckymanor.co.uk or use the live chat on the site. It helps if you tell us which page you were on and which browser and device you were using, so that we can look into it quickly.
Questions about the personal data behind these cookies, including copies of what we hold and objections to how we use it, are handled under our privacy policy, which sets out your rights and how to exercise them.
We update this policy when the cookies we use change or when the rules that apply to them change. The version shown on this page is the one in force, and the date of the most recent change is shown with it.
